𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 A joint #report by the European Investment Bank (EIB) and European Patent Office (EPO) shows that 22% of #clean and #sustainable technologies developed globally comes from the European Union. EU cleantech #innovation focuses on low-carbon #energy, clean #mobility and #alternatives to #plastic. While 29% of #EU clean-tech #firms target national #markets, 61% aim to expand within the EU #singlemarket, which they see as #crucial for future #growth.
