Embrace change to thrive! 🌟 As I always say, 'Tomorrow, everything can change!'. It's not about the change itself, but how we respond to it. Let's choose growth over stagnation. #EmbraceChange #KeepGrowing

👩🏫 I remember when I left my first "big girl job." In the months leading up to it, I felt uncertain about whether it was the right thing to do, if I was "giving up" on all my current goals and aspirations, or if I would regret my decision. All the insecurities started to creep in like do I know what I am doing? What if the grass isn’t greener? What if, what if, what if…. Sound familiar??? While that next job turned out to be a short stint (4 months to be exact), it led me to take the leap and move to NYC. 🏃♀️ After I ripped off the proverbial band-aid of leaving one job for the next, I realized something ... While it was scary to have so many transitions in such a seemingly short amount of time, the fear I felt of uncertainty became smaller. I thought to myself, I did this once and survived, surely, I can do it again for an opportunity that lands me in my dream city—a place where most people only dream of living. 🤔 📓 Reflecting on my career moves until this point, I would be lying if I said I never thought about where I might have ended up had I stayed in that first job. I think about all the accolades I could have won, opportunities that may have been missed that might have satiated my hunger for more, but the more I reflect, the more it becomes glaringly obvious... Had I stayed stagnant I certainly would NOT be where I am today! 🏙 Living in my dream city, working at a company that I can't say enough good things about (truly put their people first, ENCOURAGE vacations and mental health days, internal GLOBAL relocation opportunities, OWNERSHIP in the company, to name a few). ⚡ Sure, transitions are scary every time I make them... But it always comes at a point where the pain of stagnation has far outweighed what the pain of transition will be. Another thing I have learned is transition comes in many forms; it could be transitioning into a new role at your current company or transitioning to a new role and a new company. 🌎 If you are feeling stagnant, and that pain is starting to creep in more than you'd like, and you're curious about what a transition to LHi Group would look like, perhaps in a new market or even a new city, reach out to me or Taylor Amato to chat about what your next career move looks like! #hiring #recruitment #jobhunt

The Importance of Fun in Work Culture In today's fast-paced world, the lines between work and personal life have become increasingly blurred. We're constantly rushing to meet deadlines, juggle responsibilities, and face challenges that seem to grow more complex by the day. one crucial element often gets lost in the shuffle: fun. We’ve forgotten to have fun in what we do, and it’s costing us not only our happiness but also our ability to build strong, genuine relationships at work. The Forgotten Joy When was the last time you laughed out loud during a meeting or felt a rush of excitement about a project? For many, those moments are few and far between. Work has become synonymous with stress, pressure, and competition. But in the race to be the best, we’ve neglected the simple joy of enjoying what we do. Fun isn’t just a nice-to-have; it’s a vital component of a healthy, productive workplace. Culture and People: Beyond Buzzwords Companies love to talk about culture and a people-first approach. These concepts are touted in mission statements, recruitment ads, and employee handbooks. But too often, they remain just that—words on a page. True culture isn’t about free snacks, casual Fridays, or team-building exercises; it’s about creating an environment where people feel valued, connected, and, yes, where they can have fun. When fun is integrated into a company’s culture, it becomes a powerful tool for building strong, honest relationships. It breaks down barriers, fosters trust, and makes collaboration more natural and enjoyable. People are more likely to open up, share ideas, and support each other when they’re having fun together. The Fun Revolution In the end, having fun isn’t just about boosting morale or making work more enjoyable—it’s about fostering a culture that supports growth, innovation, and genuine connection. By putting fun at the forefront of our work culture, we can create workplaces that are not only more productive but also more fulfilling. After all, life is too short not to have fun along the way. Richard Branson thanks for the reminder !!!
