The Gayatri Mantra, though seemingly small with just 24 letters, holds immense power. It is a panacea for heart transformation and grants numerous accomplishments and virtues. This mantra encompasses various forms of knowledge and holds the essence of immortality. Each letter of this mantra is filled with teachings that can make a person's life prosperous. This is why sages have adopted this supreme mantra since ancient times and have instructed not to eat without reciting it. They have experienced its miraculous effects and pass it on to children as soon as they can understand, teaching them to recite it throughout their lives as a means to cross the ocean of life. If someone forgets this great motivating and beneficial mantra, they start walking the path of downfall. We celebrate Gayatri Jayanti every year so that we don't forget this knowledge amidst worldly troubles. The four Vedas are the four sons of Mother Gayatri, and each step of Gayatri is explained in the four Vedas. Just as Sikhs worship the Guru Granth Sahib, we should also bring out the meaning and secrets of this great mantra. Many Hindus may not have even seen the Vedas till now. We should organize processions with music, kirtans, and other festivities to create an impact on the public that the Vedas are an essential part of Indian culture. We should establish the Vedas on a beautiful silver throne with chanting, havan, and bhajans. We should organize Ved Katha programs, conferences, and meetings to establish the importance of the Vedas in the Hindu world. This will increase our attraction towards the Vedas, and our nation will move towards physical and cultural revival. - Akhand Jyoti, May 1960. #WeAreGayatriPariwar #artofliving #spiritualawakening #spirituality #spiritualgrowth #emotionalintelligence #thoughtleadership #thoughtoftheday #motivation #internationaldevelopment #grihegrihegaytrimahayagya #yagya #poojalll #thoughtrevolution

Do you know the seven laws of Lord Shiva? 1. Truth: The first law of Shiva karma is the truth. This law asks its followers to follow the path of truth. 2. Knowledge is God: A single person cannot possess the knowledge of everything. 3. Everything is an illusion: The 3rd law of Shiva karma asks believers not to attach their happiness to earthly things. 4. Beyond happiness: Remember, happiness comes from within, not outside. 5. Be formless. If you've noticed a happy person around you, you’ll see that the illusion does not control them. You put them in any situation at any place; they’ll be calm and content in their minds. So, the 5th law of karma is practicing to be formless like water. 6. Using all your senses: When our mind is at peace with our heart and we walk on the path of self-realization, all our senses come together to work in proper synchronization. When you achieve this state in your physical form, the feeling you get is incomparable. 7. Enlightenment is awakening. With these laws of Shiva karma, you achieve enlightenment. The highest form of existence for a human. In this state of mind, you attain self-realization along with a proper understanding of nature and reality. #hinduism #shiva #lordshiva #mahadev #power #indian #devokedev #baba

Part 3- Another Story from the Puranas: In the Garuda Purana, there is a tale of King Dasharatha, the father of Lord Rama, which emphasizes the significance of honoring ancestors. After Dasharatha’s death, his soul wandered in the afterlife, troubled and unable to attain peace. It was only when shree Ram performed the proper shraddha ceremonies during Pitru Paksha that Dasharatha's soul could be released from his karmic bondages and find eternal rest. This story highlights that even great souls like King Dasharatha require the loving rituals and offerings from their descendants to move forward in the afterlife. By remembering them through prayers, offerings, and rituals, we clear any lingering debts that bind our family lines. In turn, this act brings blessings, peace, and prosperity to the present and future generations. Both stories reflect the deep interconnection between the living and the departed, reinforcing the idea that ancestral healing and rituals during Pitru Paksha are essential not only for the ancestors' peace but for our own spiritual and material well-being. Our cultural heritage has deep roots, and many rituals that come from our vedas have great impact in our lives. Many have emotional, energetic, and physical benefits. Most of our Festivals are celebrated with a lot of scientific reasons behind them. #GarudaPurana #KingDasharatha #ShraddhaRituals #PitruPaksha #AncestralHealing #ShreeRam #KarmicRelease #VedicRituals #AncestorWorship #SpiritualWellBeing #KarmicBondage #CulturalHeritage #AncestorsBlessings #GenerationalHealing #Thehigherselfhealing

Charan's Commitment to Loka Kalyanam Charan's dedication to “loka kalyanam” (universal well-being) is evident through his unwavering commitment to perform Sandhya Vandanam. By engaging in this ancient practice, he aligns himself with the spiritual rhythms of the day, invoking divine energy and fostering inner peace. His daily rituals, including mantra chanting, pranayama, and Surya Namaskar, reflect his deep devotion to the well-being of all. Key Concepts: 1. Sarve Jana Sukhino Bhavanthu: "May all people be happy." This mantra embodies the wish for universal happiness and well-being. 2. Sarvam Krishnarpanamasthu: "Everything is offered to Lord Krishna." This phrase signifies dedicating all actions and thoughts to Lord Krishna, promoting a mindset of selflessness and humility. 3. Sandhya Vandanam: A traditional Hindu ritual performed at dawn, noon, and dusk, involving mantra chanting, pranayama, and Surya Namaskar. It promotes spiritual discipline, mental clarity, and inner peace. Charan's practice of Sandhya Vandanam underscores his commitment to these principles, contributing to the greater good of all beings.

Question: ”Quite often it seems that we want it both ways...’our power’ and Other Power. Could we think about it this way, ‘self-power’ is an illusion that exists within Other Power, and even this illusion cannot obstruct the Nembutsu?” My answer: I think we should not complicate our minds. To rely on your own power cannot lead you to Buddhahood in the Pure Land. It is as simple as that. To rely on your own power will obstruct the Nembutsu and your birth in the Pure Land. In the true Other Power faith there is no trace of self-power. You rely on Amida Buddha or not. Mixed faith is not true faith. When it is said in the sacred texts that nothing obstructs the Nembutsu this means that no matter how heavy your karma, you are saved by Amida if you fully entrust in Him. In this sense, your illusions or blind passions cannot be an obstacle to the Nembutsu. But self-power simply means that you do not rely at all or not exclusively on Amida for your attainment of Buddhahood in the Pure Land. This is why self-power is an obstacle for the Nembutsu, because in reality, the vehicle that takes you to the Pure Land is Amida’s Power, not your own power. We also have to understand clearly the meaning of the terms “self-power” (jiriki) and “Other power”(Tariki). They are related only with the ultimate goal of becoming a Buddha in the Pure Land. They have nothing to do with our daily activities related to work, family, health, business, etc. In everyday life one can make efforts to be successful, to be a good husband or wife, a good doctor, a good engineer or teacher, etc., but in matters related to Buddhahood one should rely only on Amida Buddha and on nobody else, especially not on himself. To put it in the simplest terms – with Other Power your becoming a Buddha is the doing of Amida, not yours. #buddhism #shinbuddhism #jodoshinshu #pureland #amitabha #amidabuddha #amidaji #amidajitemple #nembutsu #shinranshonin #honenshonin #jiriki #tariki #rennyoshonin
