Women are bees 🐝 – industrious and relentless, but unfortunately they tend to die on the job 🤯 I had the pleasure of attending an insightful event on Mental Load organized by Cindy TODESCHINI of Amplitude Women In Tech. A big thank you to Cindy and the incredible panelists: Dounia Zouine, Perline Korsonsky (Grandemange) - Queen P. 👸🏻, STEPHANIE PERCHET, Nawal Bensassi for sharing their personal stories and daily survival tips, and to Alia PAIENDA for offering us such a relaxing sonotherapy session. Here are a few points that particularly resonated with me: • 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐜𝐭 - You can have everything, just not all at once. Life is about juggling multiple aspects, like professional achievement, family, health, and self-care. Identify your top priorities and ensure none are neglected. • 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟-C𝐚𝐫𝐞 - Make time for yourself. Find what brings you joy, even if it’s simply doing nothing - I certainly don’t do this enough. • 𝐒𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥, 𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞 - Aim to go to bed by 10 PM and incorporate physical activity into your routine. • 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐨𝐱 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - Remove notifications on your phone. Avoid to-do lists: if something is truly important, it will resurface. • 𝐑𝐞𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 - Stop listening to external and self-imposed pressures. Women in tech over-adapt, delivering at 120% when 60% is the norm (especially true the higher you get). Find your “good enough” and commit to it. • 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐞 - Take your time. Contrary to common belief, there is no rush in career development. Women in tech are so scarce that the right opportunity will be there when you’re ready. How do you manage your mental load? Any tips to share? Image generated using https://getimg.ai/ #MentalLoad #WomenInTech #genAI

🧠 In a world that thrives on innovation, understanding and embracing neurodiversity is not just important - it’s essential. The concept of neurodiversity celebrates the unique wiring of every brain, highlighting that each of us perceives the world in wonderfully distinct ways. Neurodiversity encompasses a spectrum of neurological variations, including ADHD, dyslexia, and dyspraxia, among others. It's crucial to acknowledge that these differences do not signify a deficiency but rather a distinct way of interacting with the world. The misconception that neurodivergent individuals possess 'less' of something is not only outdated but fundamentally incorrect. They bring unique strengths and perspectives that can dramatically enhance the creative process. However, realizing this potential requires us to reconsider how we design our workplaces and cultivate our environments. By prioritizing inclusivity and support, we can unlock the immense value that neurodiverse individuals contribute. Next week on Great Mondays Radio, Ekaterina Solomeina, DLX dives into how you can create an inclusive workspace for all employees. While it might seem easier or more efficient to build a team of like-minded individuals, the quality of work and individuality within projects is limited. Be sure to catch Ekaterina’s episode of Great Mondays Radio to learn more about building a workplace that welcomes diverse minds, acknowledges their differences, and actively supports them on a daily basis. #GreatMondaysRadio #companyculture #neurodiversity #diverseworkforce

Yesterday, I attended the event Advocating for Women in Tech and encountered many valuable techniques. I’d like to talk a bit about Imposter Syndrome. Imposter Syndrome is a condition where individuals feel inadequate, believe they aren't good enough, and lack self-confidence. It can be considered a psychiatric symptom that, if left unchecked, can develop into depression. As we know, depression can affect people of all genders and ages, especially in highly competitive environments, increasing the risk. Someone asked during the discussion on this topic how to manage if it occurs. Sophie, the event leader, answered this question very well. She explained that when we feel this way, it means we are starting to step out of our comfort zone. We choose to do something that we feel we are not good at, that we are not as skilled at, and that we cannot do as well as others. We wouldn’t feel this way if we stayed in our comfort zone. However, if we don't step out of our comfort zone, it means we are not developing ourselves, and we will only have what we already possess. If we want something better than our current situation, we need to step out of our comfort zone. We must learn to accept our feelings and understand ourselves. Instead of letting it make us feel bad, we choose to embrace it as a friend and look for opportunities to improve. We experience these feelings because we focus on others and don’t take time to understand ourselves. In summary, my additional opinion is that if we learn to love and understand ourselves, it’s essential to understand others and accept them, using them as inspiration to gradually step out of our comfort zone. To summarize, we should learn, accept, and understand ourselves. Developing oneself and one’s mind is crucial; no one can help us except ourselves. We must be our own support. Yay!

AI and Loneliness: A Band-Aid or a Real Solution? The rising number of single adults in the US and the increasing prevalence of loneliness paints a stark picture of modern society's challenges in fostering connection. With AI's rapid advancements, it's natural to wonder if this technology could provide solace and companionship to those feeling isolated. Did you know that 40% of adults in the US are single? The question arises: Can AI address the loneliness epidemic, or is it merely a temporary fix? Here's my take on it, as shared in my recent interview with A Moment Of Xen w/t XenSams ✅ AI can create a sense of connection and companionship, especially for those who struggle with loneliness. It can be a valuable tool for mental health support and resources. ✅ However, nothing can replace genuine human interaction. The nuances of human connection, intuition, and physical presence are irreplaceable. ✅Non-judgmental Support: AI can offer a safe space for individuals to express themselves without fear of criticism. ✅Personalized Interaction: AI can adapt to individual preferences and needs, offering tailored companionship. ✅Skill Development: AI can help individuals practice social skills and build confidence in interacting with others. So, here's what I suggest: 1️⃣ Utilize AI in a safe space for education and specific experiences. 2️⃣ Practice what you learn from AI with real people to foster genuine connections. 3️⃣ Surround yourself with supportive communities, like podcasts, where you can learn and grow alongside others. AI can be seen as a band-aid solution for loneliness. It can offer temporary relief and support but cannot replace the depth and complexity of human connection. While AI companions can provide comfort and companionship, they cannot truly understand and empathize with human emotions. However, AI can also be a stepping stone towards real solutions. By providing a safe space to practice social skills and build confidence, AI can help individuals overcome barriers to forming meaningful relationships. Additionally, AI can connect individuals with shared interests, facilitating the formation of communities and fostering a sense of belonging. The key lies in balancing utilizing AI's benefits and fostering genuine human connection. By doing so, we can harness the power of technology to create a more connected and compassionate society. How do you see AI's role in addressing loneliness? I would love to hear your thoughts and experiences in the comments below! #AIandLoneliness #MentalHealthSupport #HumanConnection

#ADHDAwareness is laid out bare in this video I collected for Potency.World I know that currently, it is fashionable to drug our children 🤪🙀😭 After all, they disrupt US and our systems of coercion and control, the poor girl here has potentially (dependent on observance) the added pressure of #religion with an even stricter set of rules. #WhyWeDoWhatWeDo fascinates behavioral psychologists and the desire to #SnuffOut #Energy still works with more neuro-typical brains. However, we #NeuroDivergents will simply NOT accept your mediocrity. I have proper movers and shakers I am proud to call friends, Marisa Jones Victoria Beale Shelley Zalis Rachel Beck Sydney Devereaux who have all said to me on numerous occasions how they "Had to just do it myself" 🤘🏿😈🤘🏿 This is why at Potency.World the focus will be on the non-medicated practice of utilising the girls' (11-18) special mental attributes. #Guide not stomp out, practice #Focus and all the associated mental ill health trying to live in the world that is so slow will also reduce. My god, until I realised my #dyslexicthinking was the reason normal brains are overwhelmed by me, I was depressed and anxious. I just could not understand 🤪😭😂 Now I know my #tribe I'm indestructible and we are the ones who change the world 😁😁🤘🏿😈🤘🏿Potency.World will very deliberately guide our alumni in the use of mental representations so they have agency in their lives not simply having to react.
