DGCA Takes A U-Turn On New Pilot Duty Norms The aviation watchdog, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), has put the new pilot duty norms in abeyance. Airlines have been given indefinite time to put a scheme in place that would comply with the provisions of the revised rest rules. Currently, the pilots will have to continue to follow the old 2019 norms. #dgca #aviation #jyotiradityascindia #flight

Loss of control (LOC) is the leading cause of fatal aviation accidents, responsible for 38% of all commercial aviation fatalities between 2003 and 2012, as identified by the International Civil Aviation Organization. These incidents highlight a critical need for enhanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) to equip pilots with the necessary skills to prevent and recover from various situations mid-flight. 🚨 “Focusing on flight safety is the first design principle of BAA Training courses, as we believe this produces better aviators,” says Cristian Puig, Deputy Head of Training at BAA Training. ✈️ Discover how quality training is helping pilots respond safely to the unexpected 👉 https://lnkd.in/dpiWpJjW #AviaSolutionsGroup #BAATraining #Aviation
