One of Techstars Berlin’s class of 2022, hexafarms uses AI and machine learning to help commercial food growers optimize their production facilities and minimize losses in real time. Having closed a €1.3 million pre-seed round in August last year, the team is already expanding the capabilities of their software—and the roster of crops for which commercial food producers can rely on their AI. As of about a month ago, hexafarms had tracked more than 𝟮𝟳 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘀 of strawberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, and salads in 2024 alone.
