🥇 The values celebrated at this year’s Olympics—excellence, respect, and friendship—are what we also have seen guiding athletes like now-retired Michael Phelps, who devoted an average of five to six hours a day in the pool and won 28 gold medals over his career. 💪 These values, strengthened by a strong message of unity, extend beyond sport and have valuable applications in marketing. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eu-9QTW4 PS. Guess what day it is? National High Five Day! Yes, it’s real. 🙌 In honor of the only day that celebrates slapping hands together in mid-air, let’s acknowledge the high five. It’s not just for sports wins or sealing questionable decisions; it’s a universal way to say, “Hey, we did a thing,” without the need for pesky words. ✨ So, whether you’re celebrating a small victory or just made it through another Zoom call without falling asleep, give yourself a high five. Or better yet, awkwardly attempt a virtual one that doesn’t quite land. It’s the thought that counts, right? 🤚💥 Let's raise those hands not just for achievements, but because we can. Happy National High Five Day! May your palms be ever ready and your timing impeccable. #NationalHighFiveDay #EZMarketing

From underdog to unstoppable! Leicester City shocked the football world to win the Premier League title in the 2015/16 season. Leicester City's historic English Premier League victory against all odds serves as a powerful analogy for the journey of a tech startup. Here's how: 1. Vision and Ambition: Just like Leicester aimed for the top in football, tech startups set out with ambitious goals. They dare to challenge established norms and dream of disrupting industries with innovative solutions. 2. Resourcefulness and Agility: Leicester's triumph was fueled by resourcefulness and agility, making the most of their limited resources. Similarly, startups often operate with lean teams and budgets, leveraging creativity and adaptability to overcome challenges. 3. Teamwork and Collaboration: Leicester's success was a result of seamless teamwork and collaboration. In tech startups, diverse talents come together, each contributing their expertise to drive towards a common goal. 6. Resilience and Perseverance: Despite setbacks and obstacles, Leicester never lost sight of their goal. Similarly, startups face numerous hurdles on their path to success but demonstrate resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity. 7. Disruptive Innovation: Leicester's victory disrupted the established hierarchy of football. Likewise, tech startups aim to disrupt industries with groundbreaking innovations, challenging traditional models and paving the way for new possibilities. In essence, Leicester's triumph embodies the spirit of the underdog, defying expectations and inspiring belief in the power of perseverance and innovation. Just as Leicester achieved the impossible in football, tech startups strive to make their mark and rewrite the rules of their respective industries. It's a testament to the fact that with passion, determination, and a bold vision, even the most unlikely contenders can emerge victorious. 🌟 #UnderdogSuccess #TechStartupJourney #Innovation #Persistence #Disruption

Happy opening day of “The Masters.”🏌️♂️ ⛳️ what does excellence look like in your craft, leadership role or you career? Over a long period? This is perhaps one of my favorite days of the year for golf fans. Though much like the pristine nature of Augusta greens, the hardwork is masked by the Azaleas.🌺 What I love about golfers is the dedication to their craft. The work ethic, the precision, the speed, the power, and the ability to remain calm under the most intense situations. As a sports fan, I grew up reading about Magic Johnson. He spoke about how his work etchic was foundational to his succes including dribbling a basketball to snow. 🤯 It makes me wonder, what does excellence look like in my craft? Am I committed to excellent for myself and customers? Interesting to me, for all the hypes around a Magic or a Steph, there are 560 players who are also masterful in their craft of basketball. Plainly, we can be impactful beyond our measure, provide for family and customers, without needing to be the one person. There is so much room for 1000s of individuals to build fulfilled lives in the intersection of public sector and technology. Each person having their own super power and not needing to be cookie cutter to a mold, just like golf swings (Jim Furyk anyone? ifykyk 🤣) Be different, pursue excellence and most importantly do it with empathy. A lot of stress and ugliness in the world today — help it shine brighter. Lastly Enjoy “The Masters” today. I know I will.

"Can you feel it? It's that time of the year. A new chapter is about to be written. And things are starting to change. Jerseys get traded in for jackets. Download become upgrades. And fans feel like patrons. The past and the future play out right in front of us. And the whole world starts seeing green. Because April...is right around the corner. And spring is in the air. This isn't just golf. This is The Masters." I love this brand video for The Masters. At a time when the pro golf landscape is highly fractured and most tournaments are indistinguishable from the one the week before, the Majors have become even more elevated, and the Masters kicks this off every year. They are really leaning in to that this year, positioning the tournament as something that sits above the sport itself: more of a cultural moment that marks the arrival of spring and the REAL start of the golf season. I love how they manage to weave together the history of the event with innovation (the Masters app is widely hailed as the best in all of sport), along with recognition of different types of fan and different ways of watching. Basically the message is "Even if you don't usually watch golf, this event is different, and it's for you." There are many parallels with Wimbledon here, and I can't think of too many other sporting events that have a clearer brand positioning, and do a better job of reinforcing (and evolving) that year after year. #TheMasters #sportsmarketing #positioning

https://buff.ly/3VKgyOB This is a humorous take on how passionate golfers feel about the game, reflecting on the deep passion many enthusiasts have for golf. This passion is often attributed to a divine choice, as if God has ordained it for them. But, why the passion? We believe it's because God chose that for us!! Discover how we connect with the teachings of God on a daily basis to cultivate a deeper understanding and prioritize spiritual growth. This practice is essential for developing a profound knowledge of God. https://buff.ly/3xEcCH1 If you are interested in becoming a part of our community, feel free to join our Fellowship through the link provided below https://buff.ly/4bgDdaQ
