This article celebrates a test that increased paid trials by 43%. But here's the catch: focusing solely on trials misses the bigger picture. It's not inherently a bad idea to optimize your pricing pages - in fact, it's a great lever for potential improvement - as long as you understand the downstream impacts on your business. The CRO team could be high-fiving while the sales & customer success teams are overloaded with poor-fit prospects or onboarding confused customers.
