Here are three new features that have today gone live - all have come from our customers: ⭐ Recruiter Experience Survey We are giving a voice to recruiters to capture their experience of working with hiring managers. This compliments the Hiring Manager Experience survey, and helps identify potential areas of improvement and development. This is a benchmarked survey and results can be displayed by Business Unit/Department (where activated), and role type. ⭐ Internal / External Candidate Filter This new filter will allow you to segment the data in your results dashboard, across all of our candidate experience surveys, by internal candidate, external candidate or All candidates. 62% of people who have applied for an internal role, also have applied for a role externally at the same time - so ensuring excellence in internal candidate experience as well as external candidate experience is crucial. ⭐ Withdrawn Candidate - Post-Offer Survey (Now Live) Discovering why candidates have not accepted your offer is crucial to becoming more efficient and ultimately hiring your first choice candidates. This new survey, which is benchmarked, helps you understand the reasons but also allows you to compare your scores to other employers looking to hire the same skills, ultimately showing you why you maybe losing talent to your competition. If you're not using data from your telephony or communication solution, you're missing a huge opportunity to improve placement success rates. At the end of every project at ENG, we produce a detailed report for our clients, whether we fill the role or, in the unlikely event, we do not. This report gives our clients valuable market intelligence. It gives them brand insights and market perceptions, such as what prospective candidates think of their brand. Why specific roles are more challenging, search data and metrics, diversity data, and more. It gives our clients invaluable market data, and it helps us continuously improve. This is just one of the ways we're making recruitment better, and I'd be interested to hear from my recruitment network (& beyond) what typical data your clients crave to see when recruiting for them.

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗮𝗱𝗱 𝘂𝗽? 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂! In my opinion, these are the fundamental metrics to collect if you want to measure the success of your team's performance: # of Applications # of Passive Sourcing outreach # of Screens # of HM Screens # of Interviews # of Offers # of Hires However, merely collecting these metrics isn't enough. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁 in which the data was gathered and interpreted. This context refers to the background, environment, or setting of the data. Grasping the context is essential because it gives meaning to the data, ensuring that analyses are relevant, accurate, and actionable. Here's an example from my experience: During a weekly one particular number seemed low. Diving deeper, I analyzed our quarterly figures and found that the average submission-to-offer ratio was around 30%. However, one team had a ratio between 5-8%, which was alarmingly low. After implementing slight modifications, that team reached the 30% benchmark in just two months. The revelation here was the importance of ratios, especially when dealing with smaller numbers. Consider this: If Team A hires 1 out of 10 candidates and Team B hires 2 out of 10, the difference appears minimal (just one hire). But when you look at the ratios, Team B is achieving double the hires from the same candidate pool. In this example, the context was the data from teams with similar tech stacks and the overall performance of the specific business unit. As a strategic recruitment partner, it's essential to avoid such oversights. Always aim to understand the context right from the start.
