The number of construction permits issued in the first quarter increased According to the data of the National Statistics Service, the amount of construction permits issued in Georgia in January-March 2024 increased by 13.5%, which includes 2,492 declared permits. We are talking about the construction of buildings with an area of 2,314.6 thousand square meters (compared to the corresponding period of the previous year by 37% more). 74.3% of permits come from 4 regions of the country, namely, 48% of the construction works to be carried out come from Tbilisi, 10.8% - from Kvemo Kartli region, 7.9% - from Mtskheta-Mtianeti region and 7.6% - from Kakheti region.
