In recognition of the critical need to invest in the care economy, the International Labour Organization (ILO) of the United Nations has proclaimed October 29 as the International Day of Care and Support. Caring for people with disabilities is a vital profession that deserves recognition, support, and fair compensation. The global shift towards valuing care work reflects the understanding that inclusive societies must prioritize the well-being of both caregivers and those they support. As awareness grows, advocacy for improved policies and resources for caregivers continues to be essential #InternationalDayofCare #CareEconomy #DisabilityInclusion #HumanRights
