Leaving the H2 Technology Expo feeling exhausted but energized! Just one year ago, TerraBarrier was in its early stages. Our first step was attending the H2 Expo to assess whether there was a real market for our innovation. We returned convinced of our unique value—and the strong demand for it! Fast forward a year, and we’re here again, now meeting with multiple partners and cultivating new leads. It’s been an incredible journey, and the H2 Expo remains a pivotal event, bringing together the entire industry. Excited for what’s ahead—TerraBarrier is just getting started! #TerraBarrier #H2TechnologyExpo #Hydrogen #HydrogenPermeation #HydrogenEmbrittlement

I've had a week off and am ready for one of the best weeks of the year. Why is it the best, you ask? Because of @CenexExpo, of course! This year it is shaping up to be quite eventful. I'm starting by meeting with a South African contingent alongside Nicholas Brooks and Hiten Parmar. Then, I have time to prepare for my session in the innovation zone on Empowering Urban Mobility with Rishabh Ghotge, Pablo Decelis, George Beard, Mark Urbanowski and Katie Miller-White. We will discuss how the evolution of micromobility in cities can help on the journey to net zero. We will hold conversations at the Cenex Networking Zone for people who want to ask more questions of the panel, or follow up on the topic. On Wednesday afternoon, I will be with IUK Project SLICED, a joint project with South Korea that examines how data and smart city systems can be integrated with fleet management to result in safer, more efficient, and environmentally friendly operations. The team from Cenex (Steve Carroll and Tom Allerton) will be with other partners, Flexible Power Systems, at the Cenex Networking Zone. Anyone is welcome to come and ask us more about the project. THAT'S JUST DAY ONE! On day two, I will talk to people about depot chargepoint sharing with the IUK Paua Pins Project. Creating opportunities for fleets to share depot chargepoints will be a vital piece of the jigsaw for many to transition to electric. This project examines which depot makes a good match and how to simplify the process. Finally, I have set aside some time at 11 am in the Cenex Networking Zone to speak to people about the challenge of addressing hearts and minds in the journey to Net-Zero. If this subject interests you, please come and say hello and learn more about the Human Insights Team at Cenex. In the gaps, I plan to attend some great seminar sessions, learn about amazing new technology, and meet up with old and new friends (and maybe have lunch!). I'm sure you have already registered - but in case, here is the link

It was really impressive to see all the mobility trends in one place. From Estonia to Malaysia, from Chile to Canada, more then three dozens of contries have shown their achievments in this area. The future is going to be build around sutainable energy resources such as sun and hydrogene. And we in Armenia also have big chances to become a part of this energy and mobility transition.

💚Exciting strides towards a nature-centered future!🌿 At the recent BIONEXT Project workshop in the sunny dunes of Schoorl, stakeholders, including our Head of Nature-Finance at 2DII, Samia Baadj, gathered to design pathways for a thriving, nature-positive Europe by 2050. Building on last year’s visionary proposals, participants crafted inspiring storylines for transformative change. Key pathways include: 1️⃣ Nature for Society: Reconnecting citizens with nature through sustainable policies and innovations. 2️⃣Nature for Nature: Prioritizing nature's intrinsic value, promoting compact living and sustainable practices. 3️⃣Nature as Culture: Empowering local communities to harmonize living with nature, respecting traditions. Next steps involve translating these visions into actionable plans, with a focus on justice. Stay tuned as we continue our journey towards a harmonious future! ☘️ Click here to read more 👉https://lnkd.in/dDVRmvQE #2DII #BIONEXT #Biodiversity #NaturePositive #Sustainability #SustainableFinance #ClimateAction

As GEFE 2024 wraps up today, I can’t help but reflect on what events like this should truly be about. For many, it’s a platform to promote themselves, show off their green credentials, and network. But for me, it’s been an opportunity to listen, to learn, and to incorporate the valuable feedback I’ve gathered into the energy transformation journey we are trying to lead. Vietnam deserves more than just words or presentations about sustainability. It deserves action, collaboration, and a real commitment to becoming a leader in the green economy. That’s why, instead of focusing on promotion, I’ve taken this event as a chance to seriously engage with those around me—learning what’s working, what isn’t, and how we can push forward together to turn bold ambitions into reality. Sustainability isn’t a marketing strategy; it’s a responsibility. My goal is to take everything I’ve learned here and integrate it into the real, actionable change we’re striving for. The work continues beyond GEFE, and now more than ever, I’m committed to making Vietnam’s energy transformation something we can all be proud of. Let's continue tackling the work that needs to be done! #GEFE2024 #EnergyTransformation #VietnamGreenEconomy #SustainabilityInAction #BeyondTheTalk #EnergyEfficiency EuroCham Vietnam Green Growth Sector Committee - EuroCham Vietnam VEEP (VIoT Energy Efficiency Platform) BeluxCham Vietnam Electricity Regulatory Authority of Vietnam (ERAV)
