[INTERNSHIP HIRING] As you know, I am building my platform, Karirloka, to help people connect with their first jobs. It's been a year since I first met with university students in Bandung and began offering one-on-one mentoring to the public (by reservation, of course). I have helped more than 10 university students find their first jobs, and the response has been amazing! Many more ideas are coming to me to help even more people. However, I know I need help too. Karirloka and I are looking for an intern to manage Social Media & Content (Instagram or TikTok). Looking back on my experience 4 months ago when I participated in an industrial internship for 2 months ✨ It was a new experience to intern at one of the state-owned enterprises, namely PT PLN PERSERO UP3 Makassar Selatan, which is located at Letjen Hertasning Street No. 99, Makassar. I specifically interned in the Construction Division. There were many new things I learned during my time there, such as getting to know the actual work environment and processes in the industry, learning the importance of teamwork and effective communication in completing our tasks, and many more. My tasks included: 1. Checking and inputting billing document contents into Google Sheets. 2. Verifying the completeness of all signatures on billing documents. 3. Submitting documents requiring the Manager's signature to the Manager's Secretary. 4. Verifying billing documents. 5. Contacting vendors to complete billing documents. 6. Inputting Electrical Installation Identification Number (NIDI) data into Google Sheets. 7. Archiving Official Memorandum based on SPBJ (Surat Pemesanan Barang dan Jasa) number. Throwback to Jatim Park When I was a product specialist, I had the chance to be involved in a collaboration between Kompas and Jatim Park. This project came to life through two main activities: - A seminar on Tourism Development in Malang, where Mr. Budi Karya Sumadi was the speaker. - A bundled sales program combining Kompas print media with Jatim Park entrance tickets. The journey towards this collaboration began with teamwork between the business side (Advertising, Circulation, Events) and the editorial team. Alongside Mas James Luhulima, Mas Bakir, Mas banu astono, Mba Eta agnes swetta pandia, Mba DIANA EKA PUSPITASARI, Mas Ardani Hendarta, and Mas Agus Subekti. We had the opportunity to meet Mr. Paul Sastro, the owner of Jawa Timur Park Group. After the meeting, we were invited to tour Batu Night Spectacular (BNS). The place was stunning at night, with various animal-shaped lights, great photo spots, and the cool Batu breeze adding to the charm. Besides BNS, there are other attractions at Jatim Park worth visiting, like the Transportation Museum, Pohon Inn Hotel, and rides at Jatim Park 1, 2, and 3. The park has definitely expanded since, with more family-friendly entertainment. The key takeaway from this experience is that collaboration between teams, open communication, and clear, shared goals are essential for success.
