There are 38 company impact profiles in Social Impact World’s Impact Vault and counting (for the inquiring minds: https://lnkd.in/gkPCQyUX). One of the companies that caught my eye recently for its use of people, products, and capital for good is Fireclay Tile. Fireclay Tile is great example of how a non-tech company can make a positive impact. By far my favorite initiative the company has going is its Tile Donation program. Through this program, the company donates tiles to impactful projects. I also LOVE their Give, You Get program. When a customer pays via eCheck, they receive 0.5% back on their order. Another 0.5% goes toward a fund created by Fireclay that's used to enable employees and their families to enjoy extracurricular activities like school trips, sports, and creative pursuits.

CodePath was very instrumental in my tech career. My first practical software engineering course, before I fully pivoted to computer science, was actually from CodePath. It's been an upward journey since then, and I am grateful for organizations like CodePath. #Codepath #TechImpact #Nonprofit #Givingtuesday

Gamedevmap.com is one of the best resources for finding work in the game industry. I have gotten multiple jobs that I found using gamedevmap. You can often find hidden gems, including studios you may not know of, and job listings that aren't well publicized. Pick locations where you'd like to work (or work from remote). Then go through the list of studio websites at that location and look for a "jobs" or "careers" page. If you don't see one, try checking the footer, sitemap, or contact page of the website.
