I recently had the chance to explore #OpenTofu, and I must say, it left quite an impression. While #OpenTofu shares many similarities with #Terraform, one standout feature for me is its state encryption capability. On #AWS, this can be seamlessly managed using the KMS key provider, adding an extra layer of security. Another key distinction lies in licensing. OpenTofu is fully open-source under the MPL 2.0 license, while Terraform operates under the BSL.
