Building Products & Studying Entrepreneurs

🎢 The entrepreneur's journey is a rollercoaster that most people never see. After years of side hustles - from Android apps to e-commerce stores to SaaS products, from renting out Starlinks to popcorn machines, to interviewing dozens of founders - I've learnt a lot about the reality behind the "overnight success" stories. I'm still very much on this journey myself - not a hotshot entrepreneur, just someone who keeps experimenting and learning. 👇 Raw truths about the entrepreneurial path: ‣ Success isn't linear - most things won't go as planned ‣ "Overnight" usually means 5-10 years of invisible work ‣ The emotional highs are high, but the lows can be frequent ‣ It gets lonely - most people won't understand your journey ‣ The learning curve never ends (and that's both humbling and exciting) 💡 The game-changing realisation: Building alone was crushing me mentally. Then Guy Ligertwood and I decided to join forces. → He was building Founderoo, I jumped in to help → I was building Kaddim, he joined to support → Then together, we launched Testimonial Donut The impact? Everything changed. ✨ Why co-founding transformed the journey: ‣ Complementary skills amplify our impact ‣ Shared mindset but different perspectives ‣ Built-in support system on tough days ‣ Tag-team momentum (when one's down, the other steps up) 🎯 Key lesson: Finding the right co-founder isn't just about business metrics - it's about having someone who truly gets your challenges and helps you push through them. Guy calls it finding a "work wife" 😂 - I call it one of the best decisions I've made in business. ------ 👋 Hey! I'm Farzan, and I'm building Testimonial Donut with Guy Ligertwood in public. 🎯 Our mission: Helping busy business owners collect and showcase their reviews and testimonials in ways that win them more business. 🍩 #StartupLife #Entrepreneurship #BuildingInPublic
