That’s a wrap on another successful Automechanika Frankfurt 🎬 I had the pleasure of meeting with over 40 customers and business partners to help shape Asia Pacific’s vehicle repair parts, service, & digital solutions. With the combination of Schaeffler + Vitesco Technologies coming together next month there was definitely a 🐝 buzz in the air for all the key technologies in each vehicle segments including Motorcyle, Passenger Car, Commerical Vehicles, and Off Road. The aftermarket is experiencing a substancial changes due to government regulatory requirements, OEM positioning, technologies changes (eMobility /change in fuel), diagnostic, big data, e-commerce, ride sharing / deliveries, etc… Beside this, the world is evolving at different paces so manufactures have to continuously innovate to stay ahead without forgetting the basics of onetime delivery, quality, and cost. Last week, our ETI EU Managing Director, Winston Lee, attended invigorating Round Table discussions in Zandvoort, Netherlands, organized by one of our new members, Getac.  While the venue certainly provided an adrenaline rush, the real excitement stemmed from the dynamic conversations on AI technologies and innovative solutions that truly sparked creativity. We had the privilege of hearing from: Anuj Jain Monga, Head of Mobility Aftermarket and Digital Retail at Frost & Sullivan, who shared valuable insights on the evolving aftersales market and the transformative power of online platforms.  Vlad Shishkaryov🎗️ 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 and David Hawkins from Bridge Learning Tech presented groundbreaking approaches to engaging modern technicians Julian Soanes from KPIT captivated us with fantastic ideas on prognostics and E-Learning, highlighting their cutting-edge systems' impact on the automotive industry. Kerry Thompson from Akeno Ltd offered invaluable perspectives on enhancing dealership systems, job flow, and teamwork to create a smoother, more enjoyable customer experience.  Additionally, it was fascinating to see how Mark Carson and the teams at Renault have leveraged Getac technology to elevate customer service through seamless collaboration between service technicians and Renault engineering teams. A big thank you to Russell Younghusband and the Getac team for hosting such an outstanding event and for showcasing their state-of-the-art portable computing technologies. These advancements are opening up new possibilities for OEM and aftermarket engineers, pushing the boundaries of innovation and processing power.
