Great to be part of a team making a difference around the world every day!
What happens when you put a bunch of offshore wind experts on a boat? (No, this is not the opening to a joke.) Tetra Tech offshore wind leaders from Australia, the United Kingdom, and United States have been meeting this week to discuss industry trends, innovation, and collaboration opportunities to bring the best of our services to our clients around the world. They got out of the meeting room and into the field for some inspiration on the water—a site visit to the Vineyard Wind 1 offshore wind project under construction in Massachusetts. Tetra Tech provides protected species monitoring and mitigation support during construction and developed the oil spill response plan for the project. Some of the team had not seen an offshore wind project of this magnitude before. Getting an up-close look at the project brought a new perspective on the potential of offshore wind and the importance of the work Tetra Tech does every day.
