Tetra Tech Coffey’s Post

Tetra Tech Coffey Awarded Prestigious Australasian Land & Groundwater Association (ALGA) Award for Best Contaminated Site Assessment!   We are incredibly proud to announce that Tetra Tech Coffey together with Enviropacific Services Limited has been recognised at the ALGA 2024 Awards in Sydney for Best Contaminated Site Assessment for the Lemon Springs Waste Burial Remediation project - a testament to innovation, collaboration, and environmental excellence.   This groundbreaking project addressed significant environmental challenges at the Lemon Springs site in Victoria, which spanned 285 hectares with 32 underground waste burial sites. Over three years of intensive fieldwork, this complex remediation effort, led by Principal Environmental Engineer Tim Shanahan, together with Tetra Tech Scientists and Environmental specialists delivered cutting-edge solutions and sustainable practices. This project underscores our commitment to #Leading with Science to safeguard communities and ecosystems.   We extend our gratitude to the Environment Protection Authority Victoria (EPA) and all our partners for their collaboration and shared vision for a cleaner future. We thank ALGA for this tremendous award and acknowledgment.   Congratulations to everyone involved in this remarkable achievement! Together, we’re making a lasting impact for people and the planet.   Tim Shanahan | David Lam| Shane Ellis | Cassandra Williams-Hill | Stefan Voorham Tetra Tech | Tetra Tech Coffey #ALGAAwards #SustainabilityLeadership #EnvironmentalExcellence

I was talking to someone from EnviroPacific this week about being on site when the first excavation was completed to uncover just how big of a project that was ahead of everyone. Great work to everyone involved, especially the projects leads Tim Shanahan and David Lam and plenty of field staff along the way!
