It was a great honor to attend the New Health Food Development Forum hosted by SIAL China (Shanghai) yesterday, where we delved into the role of biotechnology as a driving force for the sustainable development of the new health industry. With the advancement of the "Healthy China 2030" strategy, we have witnessed unprecedented opportunities for the development of the health industry. During the roundtable discussions, we explored how synthetic biology and gene editing technologies are leading a revolution in the health and food industries. We also analyzed the main differences between China and the international community in the fields of synthetic biology and nutrigenomics, and discussed China's breakthrough opportunities in these areas and their potential impact on the global market. Faced with challenges, we emphasized the importance of international collaboration and proposed a series of action recommendations to overcome obstacles. Yesterday's forum was not only a collision of ideas but also the starting point for our joint action. Let us look forward to the innovation and progress of the health industry under the guidance of biotechnology!
