How was your week? At Volunteers Foundation Academy, we had an eventful and engaging week filled with diverse activities aimed at fostering creativity, teamwork, and essential life skills. Here’s a quick overview: - Show and Tell: This activity developed students’ public speaking and presentation skills, encouraging them to confidently share their interests and knowledge with peers. - Project Music: Students had the opportunity to create their own instruments and compose music. This project was important because it fostered creativity, teamwork, and an appreciation for the arts, while also teaching the basics of music theory and instrument construction. - Interhouse Sport Competition: A healthy competition in all senses, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and school spirit. This event developed students’ physical abilities and encouraged a sense of camaraderie and sportsmanship. - First Aid Training: This training was crucial for equipping students with the skills and knowledge to handle emergencies. Learning first aid is an important life skill that can save lives and increase safety awareness. We are gearing up for another intense week and will keep you posted on our activities!
