Stepping out of my comfort zone to be in front of the camera is always daunting, but it’s becoming easier and totally worth it when I get to share something I’m passionate about. The Ocean Economy at the V&A Waterfront is thriving, yet we have merely scratched the surface. A significant part of this growth is driven by ocean-related events. These events bring together tourism and the marine sector, creating a dynamic synergy. Our long-standing relationship with the Cape Town Boat Show, now known as Boatica Cape Town, is evolving. We are moving beyond a simple venue vs. event organizer relationship to engaging in meaningful discussions about the industry’s needs and our role in its growth. #boatshow #boatica #marine #ocean #oceaneconomy South African Boatbuilders Export Council - SABBEX Messe Frankfurt South Africa

Corporate meetings on the deck, brainstorming sessions with a sea breeze, and team building activities with stunning views. This is definetly a whole new way of thinking about corporate retreats! I would say it can revolutionize the way you and your team work and recharge together. I'm pretty sure corporate Erin would approve if all deliveribles are met. (Erin Throlopolis) Brillant! These North African Travel Destinations are Not to be Missed Tunisia should certainly top the list for Black travelers seeking a destination with a mix of history and natural beauty. Begin your visit in Tunis. The capital is home to the city’s 1,300-year-old medina. Though less frequented by travelers looking to visit North Africa, Algeria offers its own unique charm and attractions. Located in the capital city Algiers, the Casbah is a UNESCO World Heritage citadel filled with narrow winding streets and Ottoman-era architecture. Libya is slowly emerging as an off-the-beaten-path destination in North Africa. Here, you can explore the magnificent ruins of Leptis Magna. Once one of the most beautiful cities in the Roman Empire, its well-preserved amphitheater and baths tell the ancient tales of a bygone era of European rule in the region.

A Journey Through Time and Culture 🌴🏛️ Zanzibar isn’t just an island paradise with stunning beaches and turquoise waters—it’s a place where history breathes through every stone and street corner. Known as the “Spice Island,” Zanzibar has a rich tapestry of cultures and stories that span centuries, from its bustling spice markets to the historic alleys of Stone Town. One of the most profound lessons we can learn from Zanzibar is its pivotal role in the global spice trade and its deep, sometimes painful history as a center of the slave trade. Visiting sites like the Slave Trade Market reminds us of the resilience of the people and the importance of remembering our shared past. Today, Zanzibar stands as a symbol of cultural fusion, where African, Arab, Indian, and European influences blend seamlessly. It’s a living lesson in how diversity shapes history and enriches our present. Have you experienced Zanzibar’s rich history? What did you learn from your visit? #ExploreZanzibar #CulturalHeritage #HistoryLessons #TravelWithPurpose
