I changed the subtitle on this one to "A deep dig into the hazards of road tubeless setups" because it is about all of the details that make road tubeless setups less reliable. It is based on my long experience with road tubeless, starting from being one of the first to use UST road tubeless tires and wheels and seeing them change to the current TC, TR, etc. setups that are much sketchier. It includes links to some of my correspondence through many years of receiving reader emails about disasters they'd had with road tubeless failures leading to horrific injuries.
