The minds of children are a wonder. 💫 Though many immigrant and refugee children move to the U.S. speaking little to no English, thanks to the gift that is a sponge-like child's brain and their immersion in school, they often learn to speak English at a rapid speed. Unfortunately, this is not always the case for their caregivers, creating a barrier between what once connected them so seamlessly - their shared heritage language.
