Data now released by UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, identifies the status of the European exhibition market in 17 countries, including Greece for the first time. The certified data is gathered by a network of 12 collaborating industry bodies from across the continent. “This new edition of the annual Euro Fair Statistics report contains data for more exhibitions than in previous years, highlighting the bounce back of exhibitions after Covid-19. It is also interesting to notice that less than 2% of them are ‘hybrid’ events, allowing online visitors. THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2024 was an astounding triumph, breaking attendance records and exceeding all expectations! With 85,850 visitors from 131 countries/regions, we witnessed a significant leap from last year’s 78,764. Even more impressive, we saw a 22% surge in international visitors! The global allure of THAIFEX – Anuga Asia was evident this year from 3,133 exhibitors from 52 countries/regions showcasing the latest innovations in the F&B industry. Outstandingly, 2,034 of these exhibitors were international, and with international pavilions expanding their presence, the total international exhibition space saw a notable 12% increase from last year!

ZELLCHEMING-Expo 2024: Positive feedback and promising perspectives   The run-up to ZELLCHEMING-Expo 2024 was already a success - the number of exhibitors and the amount of exhibition space sold had increased significantly - and now the feedback from visitors was very positive: - 80% of the visitors were satisfied or very satisfied with the event. - In particular, 86% felt that the opportunity to meet with exhibitors was a success. - An even higher result was achieved by the #networking opportunities, which were praised by almost 90% of the participants. - Three-quarters (75%) of attendees rated the quality of the lecture program at the conference as high. - Almost 90% of the visitors rated the importance of the ZELLCHEMING-Expo as high and the same number would recommend the event to others. - Almost 65% of this year's participants are already planning to attend Expo 2025. The feedback from the exhibitors was also positive, which is clearly reflected in the pre-bookings: almost 40 companies, including many well-known suppliers, have already booked for ZELLCHEMING-Expo 2025, and more than 1,000 square meters have already been firmly reserved. "In addition, it is already apparent that there will also be heavyweight newcomers at the corporate level next year," explains Petra Hanke, Managing Director of ZELLCHEMING Service GmbH. This year GUYEXPO, the largest trade show in Guyana and the longest sustained exhibition in the Caribbean, is expected to attract some 100,000 patrons and 250 booths. This is a notable increase from last year’s 80,000 attendees and 200 exhibitors. Pointing out that Guyana has been on an impressive economic trajectory, with over 49 per cent growth recorded this year alone, Minister Walrond expressed that it also spans multiple industries. The theme of GUYEXPO aims to reflect this with the variety of businesses anticipated to participate in this year’s exposition. Highlighting the Government’s steadfast commitment to supporting small businesses and investing heavily in their growth and development, Minister Walrond added that the once, small and emerging enterprises have now evolved into viable, thriving entities. With just one year remaining until its grand opening, the preparations for the 2025 World Exposition in #Osaka are accelerating 🚀. Several nations have commenced construction on their own pavilions in recent months. Yet, there are lingering concerns regarding the lack of public enthusiasm 🤔. #Expo2025 has faced challenges related to escalating costs, particularly in venue development, which have surged to nearly double the initial estimate, reaching $1.5 billion 💸.
