SPOM done right✅ Now waiting for 5th July... I gave SPOM Set B yesterday and scored 82/100. Honestly I studied for 1-2 days before exam but i had completed classes of SCMPE earlier so that was a big help. I am sharing the details of material and videos i referred for preparing for this exam: 1. For theory portion - Concept notes of Atul Agarwal sir 2. For practical portion - Youtube videos of Rohan Garg, he helped in revising questions quickly. 3. For chapter 5- Youtube video of CA Concept Bytes here's the link for that https://lnkd.in/gep39-h6 4. For some other new topics CA CS SANKALP KANSTIYA sir has made short youtube videos, they are must watch as they helped me score around 12-14 marks. 5. TYK-Mcq's at the end of each chapter of study mat are must do. This exam takes a little smart work rather hard work. Just go through the concepts once, learn the formulas and you are good to go. #spom #icai #scmpe #ca

𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐅𝐌 𝐛𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 1 𝐬𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐫? 𝐈𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐅𝐌? Here are a few tips to help you get an exemption for AFM exams- ✔ 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐲 This is the subject with the highest ambiguity. At times by logic, the answer you get might not be the one that will fetch you the marks you expect. In SFM, you need to learn the sums you solve at times. ✔ 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐲 Now SFM is changing into AFM which has a good weightage for theory. Hence, ignoring theory does not work. We must remember that AFM is not a pure practical paper and concepts would be tested in more detail. ✔ 𝐌𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐬 SFM for students loving mathematics looks easy but it’s different to score marks from just getting your concepts cleared. Hence solving mocks becomes very important as it is the best test of your preparations. Mocks show the real image of your preparation. ✔ 𝐖𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 Many people don’t solve sums and glance through the sums while revising. In a subject like SFM, it’s crucial that you solve the majority of the sums in the first revision and then eventually reduce the number of sums with each revision. SFM is the subject where getting an exemption should be the minimum benchmark for a CA student as with proper practice and guidance it’s easy to score an exemption.
