Your school essays won’t help you with your TSA essay. This post will though. 1. Intro -> In your intro define any subjective terms such as ‘wrong’ or ‘should’. -> Next lay out your position - the reader shouldn’t being going into your essay blind. 2. Main Body -> You NEED to have a set structure that you use each time. Some good ones are: Intro, argument for, argument against, argument for, conclusion. Intro, argument for, argument against, rebuttal, argument for. 3. Conclusion -> Make sure you don’t introduce any new ideas. -> Recap your strongest argument for and reiterate your position. -> If you need to, add any nuance to your answer such as ‘this argument only works for X definition’. Comment what structure you’re going to be using and follow for daily uni admissions advice

One key difference between a Good College Essay and a Great College Essay is- The former only discusses strengths and achievements, while the latter also addresses challenges, shortcomings, mistakes, and lessons learned. As an avid reader of fiction, nonfiction, and college essays (tons), I instantly connect with those who write about challenges, conflict, and mistakes. There's something very "Human" about it. Your resume already lists your achievements. The cost of repetition is high when you have about 15 minutes to impress the reviewer. 15 minutes? Yes, that's about the average time spent reviewing your application, so make it count. #collegeadvice #mba #masters #studyabroadlife
