A warning about LLM and AI from German government: https://lnkd.in/gMDaGDij Yes. Regulation and validation/verification (V&V) are critical. For example, nuclear tests were to V&V atomic bomb models. An UN newly released report said that AI ONLY benefits small amount of states, companies and individuals, i.e., some few humans are making big money by using AI to harm many people. AI is based on math models, and models must be V&V before we can trust them. Using math models to simulate a physical process started from the Manhattan Project in WWII for nuclear bomb design. Then, in 1960s, it came the C4ISR, which is today's AI, whose original missions were just breaching enemy's security, dis-/mis-information, cognitive manipulation, cheat, surveillance, detection for kill, etc.. In our reality, AI causes expensive electricity bills to a C-level friend of ours. 😔 😥 😿 AI can do many things, but NOT everything, at least NOT what we are doing, by using our intellectual property (IP), a copyrighted multilingual metadata. One of the biggest challenges faced by nearly every AI studio—is "Scene Setup." Traditionally, videos have been more expensive to produce than still images. However, with AI, the situation is reversed. Images become the core foundation of the project, requiring much more effort and resources, while video creation is often as simple as dragging and dropping those images into your preferred video generator. Some studios try to cut corners by only requesting images. But I always warn them: images can cost more than the entire video production, because without the right visuals, it’s impossible to tell the story or create the atmosphere needed for a project. Once you have full control over the scene setup—including character consistency (especially their wardrobe for realism) and the ability to choose shot angles like over-the-shoulder, top views, or face-to-face—it becomes much easier to handle any type of project. Without this, it ends up being just another compilation of stock AI visuals, with flashy epic shots that even a toddler could create by randomly smashing a keyboard. While these might impress some clients, it limits the ability to fully bring a project to life with depth and vision. Not to mention, there are countless posts discussing how to achieve consistency, but they mostly focus on anime, stylized cartoony characters, or just faces using orthographic sheets. These methods don’t actually address the challenges of realism-based projects. There’s no secret prompt for true consistency—it requires strategic planning and a well-thought-out workflow before you even begin prompting. Once you become familiar with this approach, you’ll be able to add any desired camera angles and elevate your work beyond the generic AI videos that the average creator can produce. Bringing static images to life with AI! 🎥✨ Just experimented with Runway AI's Gen-2 model to transform a single photo into a short video clip. The AI seamlessly extended the scene, creating natural movement as the subject walks through the frame. It's fascinating to see how AI can add motion and depth to still images, opening up new possibilities for visual storytelling and content creation. 40-Second AI generated video? Easy! Or… is it? 🫣 Sure, others can do it much faster, but I’m not at that level yet. 🙂 Honestly, it took me hours, and it’s still not quite at the level I envision. But I’m determined to improve my editing and prompting skills over time to get the results I dream of. In the meantime, here’s a breakdown of the steps I followed to create this: 1. Starting with visuals in Midjourney : I generated over 100 images, focusing on different subjects. After reviewing the first batch of generated characters (check the comments section), I chose the white lion and elf princess as my main subjects. 2. Maintaining character consistency: I used the --cref parameter to preserve facial appearances as much as possible. While not perfect, I aimed for close alignment. Tip: Add --cref (your image URL) and --cw 100 at the end of your prompt to match facial features, clothing, and other details. 3.Animating with Luma AI: Uploaded the selected images, one at a time and in pairs (start and end frames). Played around until I created around 20+ animations and then narrowed it down to 8. 4.Adding music with Suno: Generated around 8 tracks and picked one that fit the vibe of the story. 5. Final touches: Combined everything on my phone (skipped professional video editing tools this time), added transitions, and here it is: my AI generated video I called "The power of ONE bond, The Elf princess and the White lion!"
