We're excited to unveil a groundbreaking approach to document management by integrating SharePoint with Azure AI Search. This innovative strategy enhances security and search capabilities, revolutionizing how we interact with documents. In our process: - Step 1: We extract detailed metadata using Microsoft SharePoint Graph API, ensuring precise authorization management. - Step 2: Metadata is stored in Cosmos DB for robust role-based access management. - Step 3: Documents are uploaded to Azure Blob Storage with essential metadata for secure, role-level access. - Step 4: Documents are transformed into rich embeddings via Azure AI Search Skillsets, optimizing retrieval capabilities. The final integration syncs documents enriched with AI-powered embeddings with Azure AI Search, providing advanced, context-aware search functionalities. This approach guarantees a secure, scalable, and efficient document management system, leveraging powerful AI tools for a seamless interaction experience. #Innovation #AzureAISearch #SharePoint #MicrosoftGraphAPI #DocumentManagement #AI #TechTrends

GenAI is SO useful! What is the difference between Microsoft One Drive and Sharepoint ➡️ I haven't used Microsoft 365 in decades (we use Google Workspace at GAI Insights). For our upcoming Corporate Buyers Guide to Enterprise Intelligence Applications (LLMs, etc.), the report will be delivered in slides and we decided to use a shared Powerpoint because Powerpoint is easier to make more visually impactful slides than Google Slides. ➡️ BUT the massive kaleidoscope of Microsoft Office 365 options and features for a novice user is overwhelming. ➡️ I was confused about cloud storage options, so I asked my AI co-intelligence, who happily and calmly helped. ➡️ "AI as a super tutor" at work and school is a SUPER POWER. ➡️ I continue to see MY DAILY TOKEN USAGE INCREASE (another data point for the "Token Consumption Explosion" that companies will see in 2025-26 by their employees with implications for total cost of ownership) Pete Blackshaw Mike Grandinetti Christina Ellwood Liz Vanzura Jon Salisbury Christopher Brock Amanda Fetch, MSc Luda Kopeikina, PhD in AI, MIT Sloan Fellow Adam Rappaport John Sviokla Lucinda Linde Ram Dhan Yadav Katamaraja Michael N. Small Business Pro Tech Tip: If your business is utilizing a Microsoft Tenant, your technical team can standup a native OpenAI instance… This OpenAI instance can leverage a preconfigured llama3 model and you can point it at a Azure blob storage, set up copying from files already nested in your organizations SharePoint that contain your businesses information, proposal history, bids, etc… You can run queries against YOUR data to produce results/answers about YOUR organization. You can integrate PowerBI and produce some solid data points/visulization for your organization and set up automatic copying from your SharePoint to the blob storage. Why would you pay an external orginzation to take your proprietary information and upload it to wherever they keep EVERYONES data to use with their AI tool and provide you with proposal feedback. - Protect Your Data - Save Money - Work Smarter This post is for the small businesses that don’t have the extra money to spend on external proposal teams, or flashy AI tooling. #help #smallbusiness #worksmarter
