In a significant stride towards sustainable waste management in India, Re Sustainability Limited, Asia's leading integrated sustainability solutions provider, and Sharrp Ventures | Harsh Mariwala Investment Office, the investment office of the Harsh Mariwala family, have signed a JV today to launch a first-of-its-kind #Circularity Initiative in plastic waste management in Hyderabad and Raipur. This initiative, catalyzed by the Marico Innovation Foundation (MIF), is designed to enhance the supply of high-quality recycled polyolefins for the FMCG industry, addressing a critical challenge in sourcing sustainable materials. With infrastructure development underway and facilities expected to be operational by early FY26, this project is poised to evolve into a nationwide enterprise, achieving nearly 100% diversion of #drywaste from landfills.
