#GlobalEntrepreneurshipWeek is a campaign that celebrates and empowers entrepreneurs in every country and community around the world – especially young entrepreneurs who face structural barriers. In light of this and in recognition of the huge strides that dozens of young African women have taken as part of the growing Anzisha community, we're excited to spotlight a few of our very own who are changing the world with their businesses and ventures. Today Ayanda Mngomezulu, a law student, entrepreneur and 2024 Anzisha Fellow steps into the spotlight of our #WomenEntreprenuershipSeries. Ayanda’s experience as a young entrepreneur was driven by a commitment to creativity, financial freedom and the ambition to leave a lasting impact for future generations. She grew up learning the value of diverse income sources from her father, who had a hiring business where people rented, tables and chairs from him on the weekends. It is her family's entrepreneurial spirit that inspired her to launch Aesthetic Dosage, her clothing business. Watch to hear what Ayanda has to say about her life as a young business owner. #GlobalEntrepreneurshipWeek #Anzisha #Entrepreneurship #EntrepreurshipEducation #Education #EntrepreneurshipSupport #YoungEntrepreneurs #Leadership #FutureOfWork #JobCreators #CareerPath

Last week, I joined a panel discussion alongside some amazing fellow women entrepreneurs in the Startup World Cup Cyprus. One moment that truly stood out to me was when we were asked about our motivations and role models for pursuing entrepreneurship. It was fascinating to discover that for each of us, our parents — and especially our mothers — played a pivotal role. They consistently told us that we were the smartest, the best, and that we could achieve anything we set our minds to. 🔝 This insight is a powerful reminder for all #parents out there. The encouragement you give to your children, the belief you instill in them, can be the foundation of their future confidence and success. 💁♀️ A big takeaway from this experience: Never underestimate the power of words and the role of a parent in shaping the next generation of entrepreneurs. #businessmuse #Entrepreneurship #WomenInBusiness
