What you’re seeing is just one ship’s perennial contribution to Canada’s sovereignty and security - economic, environmental, human, and physical. This is what asserting sovereignty and strengthening security looks like in action. Note also the fact that the ship breaks ice in the Arctic in the summer and the St. Lawrence in the winter. Another unsung strength of the CCG. Modesty and operational stamina!
