✨ Inspiration Can Come from Anywhere ✨ A few weeks ago, I crossed paths with an incredible woman who left a lasting mark on me. We met at a local event, and in our conversation, she shared her passionate commitment to raising awareness for breast cancer. She was looking for a flyer that would grab attention and evoke hope, strength, and unity. Her request wasn't just about design but about helping people feel seen, supported, and connected. That night, I went to my design board, thinking about her words. I wanted to create something that captured the heart of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. That's when the idea for my Breast Cancer Awareness Month Flyer Template was born. 1,000 push-ups… 3,100 to go. Can you sponsor me for half a day or a day? https://lnkd.in/epCDiEaE My target is a small one: £310 OR 10 quid a day. That’s 10p per push up. I’ll be back next year with a more challenging one for the Manchester Marathon, don’t worry. Just flexing my fundraising muscles (and the other ones too). Clearly life is so easy I feel I need to make it a little harder for myself. It’s not for a small, obscure cause, it’s an obvious one. For research funding. So we can keep trying to understand what Cancer is and how we can prevent it, manage it better, avoid it (though I’ve a feeling we’ve played god a bit too long for that now). We’ve most likely all already lost someone to this thing, I’m expecting it’ll be responsible for most of our losses to come, maybe even our own. There are many scourges to tackle and fight off. Cancer Research UK (CRUK) threw me a bone with this one and I went for it.
