October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month At One Note Initiative, we stand together to raise awareness and support survivors of domestic violence. This month, we honor the strength of those who have faced this challenge and remind everyone that they are not alone. • Know the Signs: Understanding the signs of domestic violence is the first step toward prevention. It can take many forms, including emotional, physical, and financial abuse. • Break the Silence: We encourage open conversations about this issue. Sharing stories and experiences can empower others to seek help and find support. • Get Involved: Whether you volunteer, donate, or simply share this message, you can make a difference. Together, we can create a community that supports survivors and works towards ending domestic violence. Let’s come together to spread awareness and promote healing. 💜

Donating to support widows can have a profound impact for several reasons: 1. **Economic Stability**: Widows often face significant financial hardships, especially in regions where women have limited access to economic resources and opportunities. Your support can help them achieve economic stability. 2. **Education and Empowerment**: Donations can fund educational programs, vocational training, and other initiatives that empower widows to become self-sufficient and improve their quality of life. 3. **Mental and Emotional Support**: Losing a spouse can be emotionally devastating. Charities and organizations often provide counseling and community support, which can be crucial for mental well-being. 4. **Social Justice**: In many cultures, widows may face discrimination and social exclusion. Supporting them can help fight against these injustices and promote equality. 5. **Community Development**: Helping widows can have a ripple effect, benefiting their children and communities by fostering a more stable and inclusive environment. 6. **Humanitarian Compassion**: Donating is an act of compassion and solidarity, showing that you care about the well-being of those who are vulnerable and in need of support.

Stress reduction, restraint and seclusion I am delighted to partner the Alliance agaisnt Seclusion and Restraint for this web conference. It is an opportunity to understand in an empathic manner the approach to stress management and stress reduction. I will be be speaking about how we can reduce and eliminate restraint by creating arousal regulation and co regulation which is the cornerstone of the low arousal approach.Critical to this is the double empathy approach where we change our behaviour in the first instance. All of the key contributors will focus on reducing unpredictability and chaos for the people we support. #mentalhealth #restraint #seclusion #lowarousal #wellbeing #trauma #schools #autism #adhd
We are delighted to be partnering with the Alliance Against Seclusion and Restraint for this event, an organisation whose work in the US campaigning against restrictive practices is inspirational and impactful. The Alliance Against Seclusion and Restraint (AASR) is a nonprofit organisation with a community of over 30,000 parents, self-advocates, teachers, professionals, and others working together to influence change in supporting children whose behaviors are often misunderstood. On Friday, 23rd August 2024, AVA donated around 30 chairs to the association Will Fly. These chairs will provide much-needed support for children who visit after school to learn, study, and grow. A simple chair can offer comfort and a safe place to focus, helping create an environment where young minds can thrive. This initiative is part of AVA’s continuous support to the community, in line with our CSR team’s commitment to making a positive impact on society. As per our society pillar, education is one of our main priorities, ensuring children have the resources they need to succeed. In addition, our environment pillar supports efforts to safeguard our ecosystems and raise awareness. This donation also reflects AVA's LIFE values, especially the value of Family, which focuses on promoting people's wellness and comfort while fostering solidarity. We invite you all to watch the video to see how this small act of kindness is making a meaningful impact. #AVACares #CorporateSocialResponsibility #CommunitySupport #EducationForAll #EmpoweringYouth #MakingADifference #CommunityImpact #LIFEValues #TogetherWeThrive #PositiveChange #EnvironmentalAwareness #SupportTheFuture

Domestic violence is more than a personal issue; it’s a societal crisis that impacts millions of people each year. This month, let’s take a moment to reflect on how we can actively support survivors and prevent further violence. Breaking the cycle of abuse starts with awareness, but it doesn’t end there. We need to foster safe environments where survivors feel heard, believed, and supported. Whether through volunteering, donating, or simply educating ourselves and others, each of us can make a difference. Remember, everyone deserves to feel safe and valued in their relationships. If you or someone you know is in need, reach out—there are resources available to help. Let’s commit to being part of the solution, not just during this month, but every day.
