My top 5 notings from Sonia Shenoy podcast with Ronnie Screwvala - What is Weath? Good Home and a Balanced Life (so true yet so basic and effective factors in order to function) - Flamboyance is not a measurement of value creation (People who believe in themselves are much more flamboyant irrespective) - Attitude of - If one thing becomes a success saying it was your money and if failure it was someone else (being careful of the resources utilisation irrespective of the owner of the capital) - Failures makes the stakes higher for success as well as the quantum of success - Get ready to stay the cause (as there are gonna be multiple reasons to leave something than to stay for)

As I was editing the last episode of my podcast, Come Ride with Me, I came across this quote. "We want our horses to be relaxed in their physical bodies, but they also have to be relaxed in their mental bodies". I don’t think that many people fully appreciate the amount of work regulating a nervous system is. Most humans aren’t very good at it and we haven’t been taught much about it, so it only makes sense that we don’t think about it when it comes to our horses. Ensuring that your horse's nervous system is regulated is essential for achieving this dual relaxation. A relaxed horse responds better to commands and is easier to educate. This involves not just letting the horse be, but actively engaging in practices that promote calmness. How you manage your horses is paramount. Horses that are kept in the most natural setting possible with the freedom to wander (with shelter), the freedom to forage for food at will, and within a social structure (friends) are the most balanced. As we limit or take away any of those elements, we must do more to actively regulate our horse’s nervous system. Imagine humans without those simple freedoms. What behaviors or physical maladies might occur? This is not anthropomorphizing. These are simple functions of a mammalian brain. The difference is that humans can be given a reason for not having the above freedoms and they can process the reasoning mentally. Horses do not have the ability to do that type of processing. That makes their nervous system regulation our responsibility if we want them to live in our domestic world! https://lnkd.in/erWWTr_z #podcast #equestrian #equusenlightened #horses #wednesdaywellness
