To put a number to this, this facelifted model has already raked in 1 lakh bookings in just over three months. Nissan Qashqai wins big comparison test Finland´s leading car magazine, Moottori, recently did a test drive of our Nissan Qashqai e-POWER and five competitors. And Qashqai was the clear winner! The comparison test included 6 of the most sold competitors and was conducted from from Helsinki to central Finland and back, including very varying driving circumstances and roads. These were the tested car models: Honda CR-V e:HEV Elegance Kia Sportage 1.6 T-GDI Hybrid Edition FWD Nissan Qashqai e-Power Tekna 2WD Renault Austral E-Tech Full Hybrid 200 4Control Toyota Corolla Cross 2.0 Hybrid Launch Edition Volkswagen Tiguan 1.5 eTSI 110 kW DSG Elegance Business Nissan Qashqai e-POWER won the test with the highest grade, which we are very proud of! 😊 Here is the media summary: “Nissan Qashqai - the only car with no weaknesses As a model, Qashqai has experienced a striking development curve, and in its current form is one of the best compromises in the SUV class. The quality impression meets expectations, there is tolerable space, the e-POWER powertrain is extremely comfortable and relatively economical, and there is considerably less tire noise than other Japanese cars in the comparison. Above all, the Nissan has no annoying features, while all the other participants in the comparison seem to have at least one clear subject of criticism. Nissan Qashqai is the car that is suitable for almost anyone.” #Nissan #Qashqai #NissanNordic

Hyundai i30n - Car, which everyone expected to start a new story, but the Koreans thought differently. 275 HP 1450-1500 kg Paddle shift DCT gearbox A great base as a hot hatch with one huge disadvantage. The driving characteristics give this car the character of a true hot hatch, in which FWD is not an obstacle. The car is very eager to turn and has a rally flair to it. Despite not being the lightest car on the market, its balance and construction give a sense of lightness in handling. The gearbox works surprisingly smoothly and without problems, where changing gears frequently during acceleration wasn't an issue. But what did I notice more critically? I wasn't entirely pleased with the front axle's performance based on the steering system, drive, and suspension - the steering wheel in "N" mode often felt unnecessarily stiff, or even seemed a bit "stupid" when exiting corners over bumps and leans. Perhaps it's a matter of getting used to or adjusting everything to oneself, because I only had one lap for testing. What I noticed the most (which I noticed early on), are the brakes that "swell" extremely quickly, which neither in the standard version nor in the Brembo variant simply give in too fast. Definitely too fast for a car that is supposed to have a sporty character. Modifications like Big Brake Kit, or adapting calipers from a 10-year-old Megane RS are, to put it lightly, a misunderstanding. The other issue is that the oil temperature can quickly exceed more than 135 Celsius degrees in spring weather, which is a significant misunderstanding, even if we should mount separate oil coolers for sports cars. Apart from that, a very good and interesting hot hatch. Quickly, with only 1 lap available for testing and gathering auxiliary training materials, we managed to achieve 8:14 with a passenger on board (Konrad, the owner of the car), of which 2-3 seconds were given up releasing the gang of "911s" at Hohe Acht, not to mention that it was more of a showcase ride than a hot lap 😄 The last sad thing about this car? Hyundai decided to end the production of petrol "N-cars." It's a shame, because seriously, this model had the potential for a bright future 🙃 What do you think about the i30n? 📸 Pascal Hertel
