I recently had the chance to read Blueschild Baby by George Cain, and it truly opened my eyes in ways I didn’t expect. The book offers a raw, unflinching look at addiction, trauma, and the complexities of recovery, shedding light on the often difficult-to-understand behavior of those who continue to use despite the pain they cause themselves and others. It's a powerful reminder of the emotional and psychological struggles that accompany addiction. For anyone working in the field, this book is a must-read. It provides invaluable insight into the human experience and offers perspectives that can deepen our empathy and understanding in our work with those we serve. #AddictionRecovery #MentalHealth #AddictionSupport #BooksThatInspire
