How do busy professionals figure out what's relevant and decide where to spend their time when it comes to research? Without a guide, interesting new research insights can slip through the cracks. Created in partnership with the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE), The Center's Knowledge Repository is an open-access, online, expert-curated and searchable database for research about the built environment to help find evidence that supports design decisions and advance project goals. Following an overview of the Knowledge Repository, our research team will present their quick takes on six recently published design research papers and describe why each study matters, how the research was done, and a primary takeaway. Follow their publications, attend their lectures, and follow them on social platforms. 2. Set Up PubMed Alerts: Stay updated on the latest research by setting up PubMed alerts. This ensures you never miss out on important studies and emerging trends in your field. 3. Participate in Conferences: Actively participate in relevant conferences. These events are goldmines for networking, learning about new research, and sharing your own insights. The Track Chairs have highlighted priority topics to provide direction on the content they would like to receive via the Call for Abstracts. As co-chair of this track, with Stacy Hurt 🌻and Lani Hashimoto, we are especially excited for the Patient Impact on Product Development track which will address meaningful patient engagement (PE) throughout the product lifecycle and tackle the complex issues surrounding value assessment and market access. The goal is to take this conversation to the next level. You can submit abstracts addressing priority topics and/or topics relevant to the DIA 2025 track descriptions. Next Action Learning and Action Research Conference of ALARA will be held at UTS from November 7-8, 2024 supported by UTS Action Research Network Action Learning Action Research Conference 2024 Multidisciplinary Action Learning and Action Research 7 - 8 November 2024 at University of Technology Sydney This conference offers face-to-face and virtual attendance and presentations. ALAR Association supports action research, action learning and participatory practice in a range of disciplines, including in health, education, business, community and international development, systems, and in cross-disciplinary forms. The Organising Committee invites submissions of proposals related to these or other disciplines that will contribute to the learning community in the conference program. The Committee encourages proposals that include high levels of participation by the audience of the presentations. To be considered for inclusion in the conference program, please complete and submit a presentation proposal submission form to ALAR Association by 31 July 2024. Authors will receive an acknowledgement of receipt of the proposal and the result of the review of the proposal within three weeks. The Association for Institutional Research in the Upper Midwest (AIRUM) invites you to submit presentation proposals for our annual conference on November 6-8, 2024, in Bloomington, Minnesota (near the Mall of America).  The Call for Proposals is open. This conference is an excellent opportunity for practitioners, scholarly researchers, and decision-makers in the Upper Midwest to meet and share research, tools, and best practices in institutional effectiveness (IE) and institutional research (IR). The theme of the 2024 conference is "Visualizing the Future."
