When you're texting or using your smartphone, hold it at eye level instead of looking down. This simple adjustment can make a big difference in reducing stress on your neck and spine. By holding your phone up, you're maintaining a more natural posture, which helps prevent the strain that comes from constantly looking down. It's an easy way to give your neck and spine a break, especially in today's digital world where we spend so much time on our devices. So, the next time you catch yourself hunching over your phone, remember to bring it up to eye level. Are you serious about your Eyes? Are you aware of the 20-20-20 Rule? Our Eyes are the most overworked part of our body. In today’s world of the Internet, they are working every minute we are awake. Hence it is imperative that we take very good care of our eyes as they are overworked. Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS) or Digital Eye Strain (DES) is one of the most common eye stress injuries caused by looking at digital screens for a long time. Symptoms of CVS/DES include: ‼️ Eye fatigue and/or discomfort ‼️ Dry/Red/Itchy/Irritated eyes ‼️ Blurry or double vision ‼️ Headaches The screens of all the digital devices are bright and we don’t blink our eyes too often while looking at the screens for long hours, whereby we can get dry eyes sometimes even followed by redness. If we spend most of our day looking at our Smartphone, Computer, Television, other digital devices, following the 20-20-20 rule, will help to reduce eye-strain and also relax our tired eyes. What is the 20-20-20 rule? 💡 After every 20 minutes spent using a screen 💡 Take a break for at least 20 seconds and 💡 Look at objects that are 20 feet away 💡 Blink as often as possible We need to take care of our eyes as we owe everything to them. Are mobile phones becoming the modern-day cigarettes? It's a question that hits closer to home than we may think. 📱🚬 Like cigarettes once were, phones are addictive, always within reach, and quietly reshaping our lives. We check them constantly—at meals, in meetings, even during moments meant for connection. Over time, this 'harmless' habit is fueling stress, disrupting sleep, and pulling us away from real human interaction. Just like we learned to break free from smoking, it's time to create healthier relationships with our screens. Let’s reclaim our time, focus, and mental well-being—one mindful moment at a time. #DigitalDetox #MentalHealthMatters #TechBalance #LiveInTheMoment
