Getting employee recognition right isn’t always a piece of cake. But Great Place To Work® Certified™ workplace, The Cheesecake Factory, has more than a few recognition ideas that your company can imitate. Here’s how they build a culture of recognition that’s a slice above the rest: ⭐ Values in action: Celebrations aren’t just fun; they reflect company values. Recognition centered on company values makes them a lived experience, not just words on a wall. ⭐ Playbook power: Their ‘Team Appreciation Celebration Playbook’ shares innovative recognition ideas across locations, inspiring new ways to celebrate every day, and ensuring every employee is recognized in a way that is meaningful to them. ⭐ Surprise & delight: The Fun Squad at The Cheesecake Factory conducts "Random Acts of Fun," surprising team members with treats like their favorite candy or coffee, in a spirited, unexpected way. ⭐ Peer-to-Peer props: This initiative fosters a culture of mutual appreciation and spontaneous joy, enhancing the sense of community and camaraderie among staff. By embedding celebration into their culture, The Cheesecake Factory crafts a workplace where every success, big or small, is a cause for collective cheer. Having worked alongside The Cheesecake Factory on their employee surveys, I can safely say that. Appreciation is embedded into the culture of this organization. The amount of care they put into their employees and even just showing appreciation for my work with them tells me so much about how gratitude is a part of who they are. Well done friends and keep up the great culture!

The Cheesecake Factory really covers all bases when it comes to employee recognition. Even looking out for people who have not been recognized often and making sure they feel valued 🫶

I've been here for almost 6 years now and I am proud to be a part of such a wonderful company who truly cares about their people. They are always coming up with recognition ideas to show us we are valued and appreciated.

Who doesn't like to feel appreciated and who doesn't love to feel proud of where they work!?! Nice to feel all that and more here. :)
