🎉🎉 Congratulations to Ann Yandall on 25 Years at TCC! 🎉🎉
Today we celebrate a truly remarkable milestone: Ann’s 25th anniversary with us! A quarter century is no mean feat!✨
Ann joined TCC back in 1999 and has remained a loyal, hardworking and valued team member ever since. Described by Jan Tonkin in our team celebration this week, Ann is ‘a Mainstay of TCC’. Respected by everyone and someone that gets the job done and always to a very high standard.
Here’s to many more years of success and achievements. Thank you, Ann, for being such an incredible part of our team! 🌟🙌
I'm so proud of you, Mum! What a wonderful journey it's been! AY + TCC = A match made in Heaven 😍 And what a great employer Jan and TCC has been all these years, valuing and looking after you so well.

3. Be professional - competent, thorough, efficient, firm but courteous! Use your gifts/profession/business to serve humanity!
4. Be agile - open to change and ready to learn, unlearn and re-learn!

Last week I was thrilled to speak at the ATD - RTA Chapter’s session on the dynamic topic of Mentoring and the keys to crafting a successful Global Mentoring Program!
Huge thanks to Sean McGinty, and Jiaoyue(Zhaozhao) Dongmen, for graciously inviting me to share my expertise. It’s great to see ATD chapters like the RTA providing meaningful content for their members.
I had the pleasure of sharing insights and a compelling case study on launching a Global Mentoring Program with a client in the tech software industry.
I showcased the highlights and tangible strategies for building, establishing, and maximizing ROI from mentoring initiatives.
The session was brilliant; great engagement and thought-provoking questions from the audience.
Here's one question that particularly resonated, "How do you motivate Mentors to participate and stay engaged with the program longer term?"
This question goes is deep into the heart of embedding successful mentoring initiatives….. and if you're eager to explore the answer further, feel free to reach out!
During the session, I shared a few tips, and one them is:
"Please don't assume that great senior leaders with lots of experience automatically make great Mentors."
Curious to learn why? Reach out, and let's dive into it more!
Thank you to everyone who attended, engaged, and contributed to making it a memorable session. I appreciate you and look forward to seeing some of you at ATD ICE in NOLA soon!
Let's continue fostering impactful mentorship relationships and driving professional growth!

🤖✨ Joyeux anniversaire, Robeauté! 🎂
Today we pause to observe how far we’ve come in paving the way for medical microrobotics in the neurosurgical OR, in highlighting how much the medical community is eager for novel solutions to deepening neurosurgical conditions, in showing how sometimes it takes a moonshot to shake things up.
The road has been anything but easy - but we would do it all again because the ride has been the most fulfilling ever.
Tomorrow will be bright and our spirits are high for what’s to come: advancing through preclinical trials, game-changing partnerships, more US 🇺🇸 and launching our Series A funding round.
Lucky for us, we find ourselves in the best company, surrounded by visionary, hard-working and kind-hearted individuals. 🔥
A special thank you to our exceptional engineering and operations team, our spearheading investors, our wise advisors who light our path forward and our brilliant allies worldwide. The end goal is always clear with you by our sides.
Here’s to continuing on this fantastic voyage and to a successful year ahead! 🚀
For those that need it, here's a picture of the sunrise this morning 🙂 .
So, Wednesday 2nd October was a milestone for me. It was my 40th birthday 🎉
I can’t say that I was thrilled at the thought of this milestone coming my way, but it made me reflect nonetheless and I thought I’d share:
1) 💡 Don’t underestimate the power of now:
The present moment is what matters. Apart from having a great time with friends and family, I appreciated the company and the various faces that have been in some way part of my life.
2) 💡 Surround yourself with good people who are in your corner:
Appreciate those that will celebrate with you when you do well and look out for you when you aren’t; those are the people who want to see you win. You’ll soon filter through the ones who are trapped in their own ego’s and don’t want to see you do well.
3) 💡 Be in the corner of others:
No one is "self-made", people and community matter as much in life as they do in business. So find someone who needs you to be in your corner for them and celebrate them and their successes like its your own (purely because you care and not because you might need them to return a favour or two).
1% Life: Earned Through Grit, Hard Work, and Unbreakable Values
Being a 1% biker isn’t handed to you. It’s not a lifestyle you buy into or a weekend persona. It’s earned—through grit, sweat, hard work, and a commitment to values that can’t be bought or faked. It’s about being tested, again and again, and proving that you have what it takes. It’s the miles you ride, the battles you face, and the tests that forge your spirit.
The 1% badge isn’t just a symbol; it’s a testament to the strength of character, to the willingness to put in the work, and to stand by what you believe in no matter how rough the road gets. It’s about enduring the trials, paying your dues, and coming out stronger on the other side. It means sacrificing comfort, facing adversity, and always having your brothers' backs, even when the stakes are high. You earn it through your loyalty, your actions, and your resilience.
It’s about true freedom—the kind that comes from being tested, from standing up when the world tells you to sit down, from living a life that doesn’t fit into anyone else’s expectations. It’s about the brotherhood—men who know what it means to go through hell together and come out the other side, stronger, prouder, unbroken. It’s a loyalty that’s earned through action, through the long rides, through the sacrifices, and through the trust you build every single day.
Being 1% is about honor. Not honor in someone else’s eyes, but in your own, in knowing you’ve stood your ground, faced every challenge, and come out true to yourself. It’s about the strength to hold your head high, live by your own rules, and never back down from what you believe in.
It’s a life lived raw, lived real, and lived with the strength to earn every patch, every mile, every moment. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
