We've all come across the trending story of a young girl who poisoned five people, and while the severity of the crime shouldn't be downplayed, I want to focus on a different aspect. Browsing comments, I noticed something disturbing. Some people weren't taking it seriously, making jokes or using it for content. But here's the thing: this isn't just about the perpetrator or the victims. It's about us. We need to remember: - Not everyone can be hurt and just move on. - Not everyone can forgive easily. - Our actions have real consequences. And let's be honest, we've all been hurt or wronged at some point. But how we respond matters. We can choose empathy, compassion, and kindness. Think about it: the people who lost their lives can't share their stories or testify. Their voices are silenced forever. So, let's take a step back and reflect. Before we act or speak, let's consider how others might feel. Let's strive to build each other up, not tear each other down. #EmpathyMatters #ThinkBeforeYouAct #Compassion #ResponsibleBehavior #SelfAwareness

A secret weapon to protecting your child during police questioning is STAYING CALM. There's too much focus on: Panicking when the police call Trusting that "the truth will come out" Letting emotions take over And not enough focus on: Staying composed for your child Insisting on a lawyer before any questioning Asking clear and direct questions about the situation Here’s the harsh truth: A parent’s panic can unintentionally harm their child’s case. Calm action makes all the difference. And staying calm isn’t "ignoring the problem." It’s ensuring you can make smart, protective decisions for your child. So don’t let panic decide your child’s future. If your child is in trouble, your calm presence can save them. Share this with parents—it could make all the difference.

I’ve undergone a considerable amount of real trauma. As a result my emotions will simply shut off when things get tough. I have experienced real danger and pain. My body is actually so used to adrenaline that I almost can’t function without it. I struggle to understand people that are afraid. I don’t understand when they let their fears make them irrational. I heard some school administrators talking about teachers that are afraid to come to work because an elementary school kid draws a picture of a gun and how they have to report it to law enforcement if kids make finger guns at each other on the playground. WTF!! Get a grip. Personally I don’t want my kids under the care of an adult that will fall to pieces because someone mentions a gun (or anything). People need to watch fewer movies and get some real life experiences so that they can properly evaluate risks.

China is stepping up the fight against bullying with a new law to protect children online. It says internet companies have to take "necessary measures" against cyberbullying, including blocking and deleting content. The more internet companies do, the better. And if you're the victim of cyberbullying you should use the tools to report bullying. But what you really need is time away from screens. You need to process and heal from past trauma in order to stop bullying and ignore it when it does happen. I have my ABC method (Attitude, Breathing, Choices), and there are others. You are free to reach out to me at no cost to see how I can help you. https://vester.li/i04
