Important move to tackle the important #emissions from #buildings. The #EU has formally adopted the revised Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (#EPBD), with new rules aimed at reducing #energy use and emissions from buildings across the EU, including targets for all new #buildings to be #zeroemissions by 2030, and to phase out the use of #fossilfuels in building #heating systems by 2040. This is great and should be replicated elsewhere along with pushing for longevity. The fact is that buildings stand on average 70 years in #Europe as opposed to much shorter lifespans in other parts of the world ESG Today

A Carbon Reduction Plan is a strategy implemented by a business or organisation in order to reduce its carbon. It typically includes measures such as energy efficiency, renewable energy and transportation, amongst many others. The goal of a Carbon Reduction Plan is to help businesses and organisations become more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
