Nowadays, forklift drivers are needed to transport materials from A to B. This is not just a monotonous effort for workers, but the people in this area are becoming increasingly rare. 🤯 At a certain point in time in the future, there will be no one doing this job anymore. What can we do about this? Pascal Ziegler has the answer 🤗. His team is working on a concept that enables mobile units to become #autonomous and thereby making sure that load carriers can be handled without errors, interruptions or delays! And not to forget that our AMR solution #SIMOVE does support autonomous load handling out of the box! Watch the video below to learn all about it from our colleague Pascal Ziegler!

For anyone with questions or concerns about whether autonomous trucks are compliant with state and federal transportation regulations - this episode addresses those topics directly. 🚚 👍
Autonomous Trucking is Closer Than You Think, With Favorable Regulations Already in Place In 2019, The U.S. Department of Transportation issued guidance through their AV 3.0 framework that specifically stated that going forward, federal trucking regulations from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration will no longer assume that a commercial vehicle driver must be a human present in the vehicle. This cleared the way for self-driving trucks to operate legally, as long as they comply with existing trucking regulations. Daniel Goff, Director of External Affairs, Kodiak joined The Road to Autonomy Founder Grayson Brulte to discuss the current regulatory landscape for autonomous trucks in the United States. Watch to learn why autonomous trucking is closer than you think. #RoadToAutonomy #AutonomyEconomy #AutonomousTrucking #Trucking #SelfDrivingTruck #Autonomy #Policy #Regulation #Video
