HOSPITALITY AND LEISURE GO SUPERSONIC 🎸 Full disclosure: I was one of the lucky ones who managed to get tickets for the Gallagher brothers reunion tour next year. I saw Oasis when they were together the first time round, and Noel and Liam separately on numerous occasions so it is fair to say I am very excited to see them back together next year. However, it’s not just my interest that has been piqued. The Caterer are reporting that the hospitality and leisure sector saw a 5.1% uplift in September compared to the 3.8% year on year growth seen in August with ticket sales for the Oasis reunion tour next summer playing a massive part in this. Of course this increase was also helped by the huge debacle around dynamic ticketing pricing for the shows. That being said, I am sure just like with the Taylor Swift tour this year, when it comes to the shows next year (along with stadium tours from Dua Lipa, Coldplay and Bruce Springsteen) there will be a huge boost the British economy, particularly in the hospitality sector. What can the music and touring scene muster so that the hospitality and leisure bounce continues in 2026 and what can these sectors do to harness it further? Johnny Marr has already ruled out a Smiths reunion so count that one out. Some Might Say that the UK hospitality sector is in the middle of a Champagne Supernova, let’s hope the next few months do not Bring It On Down …. 😀 Did you manage to get tickets to see Oasis or were you caught in Ticketmaster’s never ending queue? #hospitality #leisure #property

A credit card company using its leverage over who can sit down at a restaurant is the next step in segmenting customers based on how much they are able or willing to spend, hospitality experts say.
