Intrepid arts managers, you no doubt have expertise on how to improve some of the systems in your organization, but you may often feel like you are buried so far down in an org chart or that you are so siloed that you may wonder how to even begin. For those of you attending the League of American Orchestras National Conference, please consider attending Sean Kelly’s Having the Tough Conversations Lunch and Learn. Sean has a way of articulating and navigating the unique, arts landscape and communicates in a fresh, insightful and entertaining way. You will leave inspired and armed with the tools to have those conversations in your organization that will help propel the conversation forward.
The first week of June is going to be a whirlwind. 🌪 I'll be swooping in to the League of American Orchestras National Conference to lead a lunch + learn on June 7th: Have the Tough Conversation: Price, Value, Loyalty Talking about what a concert ticket's value is to a patron is so difficult in our organizations that most often it's never discussed at all. But it needs to be. 🙋♀️ What is that experience truly worth to them? Join me as we walk through how to have the tough conversation about price. If you'd like to join us, please rsvp Catherine Young at catheriney@vatic.tech to reserve your spot. Catherine will also be helming Vatic's booth during the Tech Fair and the conference so make sure to stop by and say hi. Catherine was Marketing Director at Dallas Symphony for five years so she's been in the trenches. If you're looking for an empathetic ear, she's the one. 👂

CES is chaos. There's no other way to describe it. 150 countries. 1400 startups. 4300 total exhibitors. 135,000 attendees. To get discovered in the chaos of it is one thing. But to get discovered AND to be applauded, amongst this vast pool of companies, was nothing short of a miracle. From the steady flow of attendees and tour groups to being honored with - not one - but two awards, our team was feeling the love for Lotus (Techstars'23)! But don’t take my word for it. Here is what some highly reputed journalists and content creators had to say: "While this tech can be useful for anyone, it’s refreshing to see a company that prioritizes those of us so often underserved." - Louryn Strampe, WIRED “This is a great example of repurposing old Tech into new Tech, in a smaller new format. And now people with movement disabilities can easily control parts of their home with a ring they have with them at all times." - Joshua Chang, YouTuber with over 185k subscribers “When the prototype I tried worked, it felt a bit like having a very specific kind of superpower, one I wouldn’t mind using in my daily life." - Chris Velazco, The Washington Post Folks just "get" our mission, and the need for accessible tech resonates so widely. Although Lotus has had plenty to celebrate since attending CES in January, it was a wonderfully chaotic way to kick off 2024. 🚀 https://lnkd.in/gcasBRGG

There are two ways of seeing this: ✨ CES is probably the biggest and most important event, showcasing innovation across all industries. It can get a little overwhelming, which is why, for the 4th time, we’re organizing a guided visit – preparing where to go, what to see, and who to meet, customized to the group. 🌍 Building connections with the shapers of the future, spending more time together, and exploring visions, experiments, hypotheses, and solutions with those shaping tomorrow in Silicon Valley, is the perfect add-on to the crazy convention in Sin City. 🎲 Or, look at it this way: 🤔 Ever been at a show, watching a magician do their trick and wondering how they did it? Like, really wanting to know? 🎩 CES is the magician’s show. To get behind the scenes, we’re combining a guided CES visit with a three-day Silicon Valley Tour, where you'll meet exactly who you should meet. 💡✨ I think this is a must-do. 📝 At least a bucket-list-must-do, but actually, it’s a yearly update of insights, network, and strategy. And beyond the inspiration and “aha!” moments – it should be fun, too. 🎉 Who’s in? 👉 Jan 08-15, Las Vegas & Silicon Valley

F80: The Future of Conferences Unfolds in 80cm of Holographic Brilliance Transform presentations into experiences with the F80 Holographic Display. Conferences will never be the same with the introduction of the F80 holographic display. Crafted by the imaginative Elena Petrova, this 80cm marvel is redefining public speaking. Imagine a speaker's key points floating beside them, graphs and models coming to life, and data that doesn't just inform but captivates. The F80 transforms complex concepts into three-dimensional clarity, making every talk not only a lecture but an exhibition. This tool brings a new layer of engagement to conferences. It's not just a visual aid; it's a silent co-speaker, turning every fact and figure into a holographic story that holds audiences spellbound. For those who seek to leave a mark in the minds of their audience, the F80 is more than a display—it’s a declaration that your conference is at the forefront of innovation. #3DHologramdisplay #3DHolographicFan #3DLedFan #3DHoloFan
