The Female Athlete Project’s Post

The ParaMatildas have booked their spot in tomorrow morning’s [12:30am AEDT] IFCPF World Cup Final after going undefeated throughout the pool stages, with four consecutive wins and in doing so defeating the USA for the first time in their history, beating the Americans 3-1. The win for the Aussies was also the first-ever World Cup loss for the USA. The Australian’s will now face the USA in the World Cup Final for the second time, looking to take revenge for last year’s defeat in the final, while becoming the first Australian national football side to win a World Cup. You can catch the match on Football Australia's YouTube Channel tomorrow morning Wednesday the 20th November at 12:30am AEDT.
