That’s how long women often have to wait to be seen in low-resourced areas across the world. 5% That was the percentage of pregnant women seen within 10 minutes of arrival at hospitals in Ghana. 85% That’s the percentage of pregnant women seen within 10 minutes of arrival after Kybele introduced the Obstetric Triage Implementation Package (OTIP). That change was the basis for the national rollout of the OTIP program in Ghana in 2024, a rollout that has been a life-saving change for many women and children. Referrals can be made by professionals such as social workers, health visitors, midwives, and other support agencies. We are a non-means tested service, we trust the judgment of the referee. Referral Form: Complete our online referral form available on our website lisas-aid.org. This form collects essential information to help us understand the needs of the family. Assessment: Our team reviews the referral to ensure we can provide the appropriate support. We may contact the referrer for additional information if needed. Collection or Delivery: Once approved, we arrange for the collection of items such as toiletries, high-quality pre-loved clothing, toys, and baby equipment. Ongoing Support: We encourage continued referrals to ensure we can help every family that gets referred to us. Our goal is to provide ongoing support and make a lasting impact.
