And its made him a billionaire several times over   1.Makes sure the business he is buying has a competitive advantage 2.Makes sure he knows and trusts the management team of the business.   If he is going to put his money into the hands of someone else,   He is very clear on who the management is, what their beliefs are, how they treat their employees etc   I spend a lot of time studying the management of different investments also, and it has served me well.   -What are the core beliefs of the management team? -Do they align with my own? -Are they meeting goals they set out for themselves? -How are they dealing with issues that come up?   The management team is arguably the most important piece of the puzzle   But it takes time to keep tabs on management and investments to make sure they are staying on track   Who's hands are you putting your money into?   Do they resonate with you? Or are they just stuffing your money into a place so it's done?   Or maybe you don't care...   Warren cares!
