On November 15, the Federal District Court of the Eastern District of Texas struck down the DOL’s final regulation to increase the salary threshold for white-collar exemptions. The ruling negates both the July 1, 2024, and January 1, 2025, increases, returning the salary threshold back to $684 per week.
